Chin augmentation with dermal fillers is a sought-after injectable to enhance facial balance. It is a suitable solution for correcting dental bites, anatomical asymmetry, or hereditary factors that contribute to a recessed or inadequately sized chin. This non-surgical approach achieves a harmonious and confident facial profile.

Antiaging beauty treatment

Repetitive facial expressions over time can contribute to the deepening of nasolabial folds, also known as smile lines. Dermal fillers with hyaluronic acid, correctly injected, soften and plump these folds, creating a smoother appearance. Quick, minimally invasive, and naturally pleasing results.

Marionette lines, commonly referred to as ‘sad mouth,’ are vertical creases from mouth corners to chin. They develop as skin ages, loses collagen and elastin, and succumbs to gravity. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers restore and reduce these folds, lifting the mouth area for a happier appearance.

Biostimulators

Collagen is the structural foundation of your skin, and its production naturally declines with age. Stimulating collagen is essential for anti-aging and enhanced aesthetics. Biostimulators activate your body’s collagen production, improving elasticity, reducing wrinkles, and revealing a naturally timeless complexion.

Are dermal fillers safe?

Dermal fillers are considered to be safe, but side effects can occur. An experienced and qualified Registered Nurse or Medical Doctor should perform all dermal filler procedures using only TGA-approved dermal fillers. At Bryght, we only use TGA-approved premium brands with clinical safety records. In addition, hyaluronic acid (HA) is a substance that occurs naturally in skin cells, and, therefore, the risk of allergic reactions is very rare.

Is the procedure painful?

This procedure is generally well-tolerated, and anaesthetic or pain management is provided.

How long does a dermal filler procedure take?

The duration of a dermal filler procedure can vary depending on the specific areas being treated and the amount of filler required. In general, a dermal filler procedure typically takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

What are the side effects of dermal fillers?

Most patients experience swelling, bruising, and tenderness. Minor lumps and unevenness after dermal filler treatments can also be expected. These side effects are temporary injection site reactions and typically fade within a few hours or days, but may persist for up to 3 weeks in sensitive areas like your lips.

While rare, unforeseen risks such as infection, skin necrosis, granuloma formation, blindness, or vision impairment have been reported as potential side effects of dermal fillers. If any of these side effects occur, they will require additional medical intervention and management.

How should I prepare for dermal fillers?

Avoid blood-thinning medications and alcohol beforehand and stay hydrated. On the day of your appointment, a medical consultation will be conducted to ascertain your eligibility for the procedure.

Is there any downtime after dermal filler injections?

Most patients can return to their normal activities right after the procedure. However, avoid strenuous exercise for 2 days, and refrain from alcohol for 24 hours to ensure the best results and minimise potential side effects. A full aftercare instruction will be provided by your practitioner.

Can anyone get dermal fillers?

Only people over 18 years old are eligible for dermal fillers, but it’s essential to consult with Bryght skilled practitioner to ensure you are a suitable candidate. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals are ineligible for any cosmetic injectable procedures, and it is also not recommended if you have an active cold sore.

Can dermal fillers be reversed?

Dermal fillers can be reversed using an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which helps break down and remove hyaluronic acid fillers. This can be beneficial if you’re unsatisfied with the results or encounter complications.

How much do dermal fillers cost?

The cost starts from $650 for 1ml. A personalised consultation is recommended for the practitioner to assess your skin, facial features, concerns properly.

Can dermal fillers be used in combination with other cosmetic procedures?

Dermal fillers are often combined with anti-wrinkle injections to achieve a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. This approach addresses both dynamic wrinkles (botulinum toxin) and volume loss (dermal fillers) for a fuller and more youthful appearance.

How soon will I see any result and how long does it last?

Dermal filler results can be seen immediately after treatment, with gradual improvement over the following 3 to 4 weeks. In some areas, such as under eyes, results can last up to 2 years. Your particular requirements and the severity of the wrinkles being treated play a significant role in determining the length of the results. Regular and repeated treatments can help achieve optimal results.
